Clearance Ports
Suva, Lautoka, Port Denarau Marina, Vuda Marina, Savusavu (Nawi Island Marina) and
Levuka. To make your arrival smooth sailing, our team will arrange everything in advance for you. All the necessary forms can be filled prior to departure from your last port. All you need to do is give us your ETA 24hrs prior to arrival, fly the international “Q” flag and we will be on standby to meet you and do the rest.
Customs
All yachts must submit an ADVANCED NOTICE OF ARRIVAL (Form C2C). This must be
received by Customs at least 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR ARRIVAL. Yachts will need to
provide Alcohol and stores lists prior to arrival. Yacht Help will advise you on all the details. If you are not sure about bringing an item to Fiji, contact Yacht Help for the most up to date advice.
Immigration
Most nationalities don’t require visas for Fiji. To check your status see:-

If a visa is required, these are issued from Fiji and the process takes 1 week.
All crew and guests will be issued a 4 month tourist visa on arrival. This can be extended to 18 months without leaving the country.
Incoming Crew/Guests arriving on one-way air tickets
All Crew/Guests arriving into Fiji on one-way air tickets will be required to travel with a FACILITATION LETTER issued by Fiji Immigration.
The airlines will stop crew/guests from boarding their flights to Fiji without this Facilitation Letter.
Biosecurity
There are restrictions on bringing Pork and other meats into Fiji. The advice from Biosecurity is up dated from time to time and you should contact Yacht Help for the latest update.
No foreign food item can be landed ashore. All food garbage will be removed for incineration on arrival.
Plants must be kept inside the airconditioned areas of the yacht at all times.
All animals must be declared well in advance and have all the necessary vaccinations.
Health
All Yachts arriving from Malarial areas are required to have their non airconditioned areas (Anchor Locker, Lazarette, Deck boxes etc…) sprayed for mosquitos by Health Officials on arrival.
Declare any illness, sickness, or suspected exposure to either prior to arrival.

Developing the best itinerary to fit your length of cruise, guest interests, prevailing weather, and yacht dimensions is
our priority. Yacht Helps owner (Captain David Jamieson) is an ex-captain with 20 years of sailing experience in Fiji. We
specialize in tailor-made itineraries with creative solutions to en-route transfers and provisioning needs.
Tracks and waypoints
Some of the remote areas of Fiji are lacking accurate charts. Our itineraries are supported by tried and tested tracks
and waypoints in up-loadable formats.
Locations
We provide places of interest, Manta Ray viewing spots, Surfing Spots, Resorts, Heli landing areas, Seaplane landing areas, Resorts, Snorkeling spots, Hikes and Ferry stops all on Google Earth.

Fiji will have three superyacht-capable marinas by June 2020. Contact our staff for full details and berthing options.
Bunkering
With a 20-year partnership with local fuel suppliers, we are able to offer competitive bunker prices on account for any
port, marina, or suitable dock in Fiji.

Superyacht Charter
Rules and Conditions
1. Yachts must be over 18M, must not carry more than 12 passengers and must have a minimum weekly gross charter rate of USD30,000.
2. Yachts must have a valid Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) certification or equivalent internationally recognized commercial survey for the purpose of carrying passengers.
3. A fee of FJD3600 (USD1800) will be levied on each yacht for a Short-Term Charter Permit (STCP) that will cover 6 months and multiple Charters. STCPs can be renewed multiple times for a maximum stay of 18 months.
4. Marine Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF) will survey the yacht and issue a Coastal Trading Permit (CTP) required for each charter. Cost FJD3450 (USD1725).
5. The Environment & Climate Adaption Levy (ECAL) of 5% is levied on the stated gross charter fee as disclosed on the charter contract. This is the only tax applied to yacht charters.
6. Charter contracts must be industry standard, either Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association MYBA, American Yacht Charter Association AYCA or other legally recognized charter contract.
7. All applications for the Yacht Charter Permit must be made through a recognized superyacht agent i.e. Yacht Help Fiji.
8. Applications take 15 working days to process.
